My name is Melissa Waldinger. I am an aspiring front-end developer based out of Georgia, transitioning from a successful career in education to pursue my passion in technology. With a background in STEM teaching, I spent years introducing students to coding through hands on learning. I worked with Code.org on many occasions to stimulate enthusiasm for computer science. Those experiences sparked my own interest to delve deeper into web development.
While I am early in my tech professional journey, I bring strong problem solving skills and a quick level of adaptability. My years as an educator taught me how to approach challenges with curiosity and persistence. I am excited to grow as a developer and offer my unique perspective as a creative individual to build engaging, user-friendly web experiences.
